E3 2019 is right around the corner, meaning speculation based around what we can expect out of each and every conference is at an all-time high. Here's a possibility for Bethesda's E3 showcase: a new project from The Evil Within's Shinji Mikami.
The legendary developer tweeted overnight: "Next week E3 business trip", fuelling speculation that we might be about to get a taste of what's next from Tango Gameworks. It has been nearly two years since The Evil Within 2 launched, and since not a single piece of DLC has been released for it outside of a first-person mode, we have to assume that the team went straight back into production of a new title. The Evil Within 3 is a definite possibility for Bethesda's conference, or maybe even a new IP for next-gen.
The prospect of a third entry definitely excites this scribe, but what do you want to see from Shinji Mikami next? Stock up on shotgun ammo in the comments below.

Great news, The Evil Within 2 was awesome. Even if he doesn't make a new TEW, I'll be interested in any survival horror game from him.
The Evil Within 2 is without a doubt my #1 underrated and overlooked game of this gen. After the first I didn't expect to ever play it but I'm so glad I did. Just a brilliant survival horror.
This would be most excellent, EW2 is one of my favourite games in recent years. I’m not sure I see them doing a third though. But I hope they do!

The semi-open structure of the second one was a nice touch and the series does have the atmosphere right. Looking forward to the possibility of a third one.

@thefirst at least someone agrees with me, i hated the evil within, 2nd game is great though, lets see what happens about a 3rd game.
@thefirst @huyi would you guys recommend? I hated the first one and never paid any interest to the 2nd one, read no reviews or even watched any gameplay.

I actually liked the first game. Never played the second one guessing I should try it.
after re2, mikami should rethink the next step for ew3 to stand out
I thought the first Evil Within was rather good but never gave the sequel a chance. Semi open world and all that modern gaming malarkey.
