Spyro: Reignited Trilogy - How to Beat Each Enemy

There are plenty of enemies in each of the Spyro games, and they can generally be categorised by how you're able to dispatch them.

Small Enemies

Most enemies aren't much larger than Spyro, and can be defeated with either Spyro's charge attack or flame breath. Enemies with weapons will try to fight back, but more often than not can be easily taken out with either attack.

Large Enemies

You'll also encounter a number of enemies considerably bigger than our little dragon hero. These baddies can't be taken down with a charge attack, so you'll need to use your fire to defeat them. Occasionally you'll come across enemies that require two flame attacks to beat.

Armoured Enemies

Some foes, big or small, might be wearing metallic armour, or carrying shiny shields. These bad guys will absorb the heat from your regular flame attacks, so if you want to take them down, you'll need to charge into them or use the Superflame power-up. In the case of large enemies wearing armour, you should get round to the back of them and use your flame breath.

That's how to defeat each enemy type in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. For lots more information on the game, be sure to read our Spyro: Reignited Trilogy guide.
