Sony ended its E3 2018 press conference with a lengthy new trailer for Spider-Man, introducing us to not one but four new adversaries: Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, and Vulture. They join Mr Negative in the game's roster of baddies, with a mysterious figure looming over Spidey in the final shot. Who could it be? Well, one voice actor may have inadvertently given us the answer. Warning: potential spoilers below.
Speaking with YouTuber Drift0r, Chris Jai Alex - who plays Rhino in the upcoming PS4 exclusive - accidentally let slip that Doctor Octopus is in Spider-Man in the middle of a conversation about the game's fight scenes. This makes a fair amount of sense, given that the character was the original founder of the Sinister Six. What lends a little extra credence to this is that the original video was taken offline, suggesting the information is legitimate.
It's possible this isn't correct, but the fact the video was removed makes us feel that it's probably true. Either way, there are only a few months until we can find out for ourselves.

Never liked Doc Ock. Was hoping for Either Green or Hob Goblin. Seems like the person at the end of that E3 clip was flying on something though 🤔🤔

Whether Doc Oc is the Villain that was alluded to at that point in the trailer or not, I don't know. I still think that was the Green Goblin myself. It's certainly someone who surprised him and unexpected.
I wouldn't be surprised if Doc Oc is in the game though - even if its not a 'major' part - like some of the Batman Villains in the Arkham series - a couple of months and we find out...
I saw Drift0r's interview but it didn't click that.the villian was suppose to be a secret. I just assumed he was going to be in the game.some where since he is one of Spidey's more popular villians.

In retrospect, how could anyone be a surprise? Spidey literally had the kitchen sink thrown at him!
@lacerz You can still be surprised if someone you weren't suspecting shows up...
I'm hoping it's either Doctor Octopus or Green/Hob Goblin as the Sinister Six boss.
