We already know that Monster Hunter: World is enjoying very healthy sales, and it seems the game will be sticking around in the charts for a little while. It's in the top spot once more, stealing the spotlight from UFC 3, which debuts in second place.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is also still performing well, though it has dropped a few places in its second week. The other new entry is Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, which enters the UK chart in ninth position. There isn't a whole lot more to talk about this week; evergreen titles like FIFA 18 and Grand Theft Auto V are still going strong, even alongside some notable launches. Here's the top ten in full.
UK Sales Charts: Week Ending 3rd February, 2018
- Monster Hunter: World
- EA Sports UFC 3
- Call of Duty: WWII
- FIFA 18
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Any game that is able to stay ahead of GTAV in the UK charts for more than one week is a success.
MonHun only dropped by 40% or so which means word of mouth is working in its favour.
This game is going to do VERY well for itself.
But but "nintendo experts" said it was Doomed to fail because it wasn't in a nintendo handheld system.
Hopefully this teaches Capcom a lesson.
@NintendoFan4Lyf when people stop buying ps4s/xb1s.
I think the timing of Mon Hun’s release was well done. Good on them for getting it out there before the onslaught of games later this year.
Finally monster hunter series is back to its rightfull home, a home where it can sell 5M in 3 days rather than 3 years

@AlejandroMora more like I question how long it’ll be til Nintendo gets knocked off the UK listings entirely
@wiiware think the next one may be a PS4 exclusive?
@playstation1995 It was a great match!
Go Monster Hunter
It's a fantastic game!
Yeah, Capcom's gamble paid off big time.
@Derpie1 Nope, I think it will be on ps4, xbox1, and pc. Or on next gen ps, xbox and pc.
@wiiware interesting
I would think Sony may try for a similar thing w SFV & try for a PS4 & PC thing
Ok, MH is going to stay on home consoles for a while...
@Derpie1 Maybe sony will have exclusive dlc and promotion like cod and destiny, but I don't think capcom want its premiere series goes exclusive again.
@wiiware they prob can do well enough on PlayStation as it can attract a Japanese audience unlike if it was exclusive to Xbox... but it can also attract a Western audience w the right timing + enough marketing it can sell.
I am enjoying it far more than I expected too, I didn't expect to be so attached to my Palicoe, Brad Kitt, either 😁
Looks like Capcom struck gold this time around, good for them I say.
I'm glad Monster Hunter is doing so well, it's really a phenomenal game. I just wish Capcom would fix the save-corrupting bug already.
