Sony CES 2018 Kaz Hirai PlayStation 4 1

If you’ve ever been to an electronics convention before, you’ll know that they’re filled with loud music and flashing lights. What happens, then, when the power goes out? Well, that’s exactly what occurred at CES 2018 in Las Vegas earlier today, where parts of the South and Central Halls were plunged into darkness. Honestly, it’s a bizarre sight to behold:

Power has since been restored to the Las Vegas Convention Center, though it sounds like there are various incidents being reported in the surrounding areas. The show’s scheduled to run through 12th January so there’s still plenty of time for attendees to check out all of the expensive gizmos on display – assuming there are no further outages, of course.
