Horizon: Zero Dawn’s brand new The Frozen Wilds expansion is a proper add-on pack, meaning that its content is integrated into the existing game world. As such, if you’re revisiting the game for the first time in a few months, you may be wondering where to find The Cut and how you access all of the new quests that it offers.
How to Access Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
First things first, you’re going to need to ensure that you’ve fully completed the main quest ‘A Seeker at the Gates’. From this point you’ll be able to access Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, though the quests are tuned around characters that are Level 30 and beyond. This is a difficult DLC pack so you may want to come back when you’ve finished much of the main story – we struggled even with our Level 50 character.
Where to Find Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
In order to start the new quest line, you’re going to want to travel to the very North East portion of the map, just above the location marked the ‘Grave Hoard’. At the top of the hill, you’ll find a wall with blue lights and Banuk paintings attached to it. Scale this and you’ll eventually stumble upon a tribesperson who will give you a quest and begin your journey into The Frozen Wilds.
