Tearaway Unfolded PS4

Tearaway Unfolded is a bit of a strange, papery proposition. Presented during Sony’s big Gamescom 2014 press conference as a kind of adaptation for the PlayStation 4, it wasn’t entirely clear whether it will boast brand new content or the exact same puzzles and areas as its PlayStation Vita predecessor. Now, an IGN report straight from Cologne has confirmed that around 50 per cent of the package will be brand new.

In fact, this sounds much more like a remake than a retread of the handheld title that deployed last year. Environments have been made to feel bigger and livelier, with the addition of new characters to flesh out those spaces, while even the narrations are being re-recorded. Moreover, the title’s already running at 1080p, with 60 frames-per-second the target. Has this coloured your anticipation for the faux re-release? Bend our ear in the comments section below.
