Weirdness: These FuturLab-Inspired Painted Nails Are Too Cool

Want to know an oddly specific secret? This author hates painted nails. There’s something creepy about the act of colouring your fingers different hues – and don’t even mention toe nails. Still, for this particular story, we’re making an exception, because this is just too cool to ignore. In order to celebrate the releases of Velocity: Ultra and Coconut Dodge: Revitalised in North America, PlayStation product marketer Sharon K donned these awesome FuturLab-themed digit drawings.

The first – for Velocity: Ultra – displays the game’s speed trails in an ambitious piece of artwork, while the second shows Coconut Dodge: Revitalised’s hero Clawrence chilling next to a palm tree. Sharon deserves credit for snapping the latter image while, er, playing at the beach. It turns out that FuturLab isn’t the only studio lucky enough to get the nail treatment, though – a quick flick through the steady-handed sketcher's Twitter page reveals similar designs for Farming Simulator, Hotline Miami, and Hohokum.
