While the various video game banners that appear around Los Angeles every year offer a timely reminder that E3 is right around the corner, it’s the giant wooden crates dressed with company logos that really highlight the event’s imminent opening. These shots snapped by Gamekyo offer your first glimpse at the PlayStation booth – though naturally it’s all packed up at the present.
We’re guessing that a lot of this stuff is structural – Sony usually has a huge, multilayer setup on the showfloor – but you never know, there may be an actual PlayStation 4 buried deep within one of these boxes. As such, let’s hope that none of them fall off the forklift truck when being transported inside the LA Convention Centre, eh?

Hopefully those crates are filled with What Not To Do notes taken during the Xbox One reveal.
@ObviouslyAdachi Hahahaha good one man. I told my oldest brother (who is a massive MS fanboy and constantly belittles me for playing PlayStation) about the XBone's used games and online DRM. He refused to believe it and says that the official blog is lying. Little does he know..
Just out of shot: Don Mattrick crowbar-ing his way into a crate.
damn, and i thought the xbone looked big. just hope there's a ton of foam in that crate protecting the ps4. 2 more sleeps till E3. c'mon PS4.
It better be sexy, or I'm still gonna buy one.
Their shipment of Tretton has arrived!
Come ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon Kevin Butler!
Hideo, David, Kiefer, could all be hiding in those boxes...or maybe Nolan North?
