In the shadows

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will boast a day and night cycle, according to Eurogamer.net. The website reports that series creator Hideo Kojima divulged the information in an interview after the game's recent unveiling.

According to the industry luminary, the day and night cycle will boost replayability, allowing players to approach encounters in different ways. Troop patterns will change depending on the time of day, Kojima added.

The developer also explained that the game’s open-world setting will feature loading screens as you sneak through it, though it’s not yet clear how frequent they’ll be.

If you still haven’t seen Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes' debut demo, you should probably drop everything and point your browser through here. It's pretty impressive.
