Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Guide: FAQs

For this part of our Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales guide, we're going to reveal all suits and how to unlock them, as well as answer any other niggly questions you may have about the game.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Guide: Tips and Tricks

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is not a particularly difficult game, but you may be searching for some tips and tricks to help get you started with the game. For the next part of our Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales guide, we're going to list out some pointers to help you make the most of the release before you jump in.

Find the Right Difficulty for You

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales has a number of different difficulty settings, ranging from very easy all the way through to very hard. You can change this at any time if you're finding the game too simple or too challenging, so don't worry too much at the beginning. If you find yourself dying a lot then maybe consider dialling down the difficulty; there are no gameplay penalties for doing this.

Learn How to Swing

If this is your first time playing a Marvel's Spider-Man game, then once you're let loose into the open world, we recommend you spend a little bit of time learning how to swing. Mastering the game's locomotion can be tough at first, but set aside a bit of time to practice. Remember, you want to leap out of your swings using the X button for maximum momentum. You can also pull yourself towards objects like chimneys and railings and propel yourself from these. Once you're feeling confident, start adding in some tricks with the Square button in order to ensure you feel like a true superhero.

Spend Time Doing Side-Missions

While the story of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is extremely engaging, we recommend you don't just focus on the main missions. Instead, you'll want to complete side-missions and various open world activities, as this will earn you XP and new suits which will improve your overall performance in combat. The side-missions also help flesh out Miles as a character and really add to his story, so don't skip them and race to the credits.

Always Upgrade

Whether it's new Skill Points for increasing your level or gadget upgrades, be sure to stay on top of Miles' character progression so he's always at his most effective. You'll be able to unlock almost everything by the time you 100 per cent the game, so you don't have to think too hard about what improvements you select, but do make sure you're enhancing the character at every opportunity you get, because that'll make you more potent in combat as you reach the more challenging missions towards the end of the game.

Thin Out Enemies in Stealth

Miles Morales can turn invisible, and that makes him particularly effective in stealth. While he's also a very effective fighter, we recommend you clear out enemy hideouts and labs as much as possible while undercover first. Then, once you've thinned the numbers, you can come out swinging with your fists. This makes encounters generally more manageable, and it allows you to fully enjoy both sides of the protagonist's skillsets.

And that just about wraps up our Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales guide. Thanks for reading, and hopefully this helped you to unlock your Platinum Trophy and 100% competition in the game. If you have any further tips, tricks, or hints then please do be sure to share those in the comments section below.
