Topic: What Games Were You Playing Ten Years Ago?

I think it was the time when I played less and less on computer. I didn't want to upgrade it, and I didn't want to buy a console either. So end up playing my old games again. Mainly, Imperium Galactica 2.

But I clearly remember that I loved my brother's Nintendo Wii and its concept of moving while I play.
I thought this kind of gaming will improve so much in the next few years, so I will end up buying the next gen Wii or alternatives.
I am still a bit disappointed that this never happened.

Note:
I never really played more than a few hours though Wii lifetime as I never had it. So I don't know what happened between its era and its end. Maybe it's an ageing thing, but I would prefer gaming and moving instead of sitting in a room and “watching TV”, using some buttons.

According to my trophies, ten years ago today I was killing Flynt in the original Borderlands.

10 years ago i was mostly playing Perfect World International. A chinese made f2p mmorpg with heavy p2w aspects. The good thing is i actually met my wife through that game, so p2w f2p type of games aren't always bad

10 years ago from today would put me almost exactly in freshers week of my first year of Uni I believe😂😂😂...not much gaming was done during this time.

I didn’t have my console with me at Uni so didn’t play much just a laptop & my 3DS.
It’s highly likely that I was still playing Pokemon Black- the last Pokemon game I spent well over 1000hours on.

However shortly after I started my football manager addiction with FM13 & that’s genuinely all I played for well over a year.

I was on 360 at the time and I've no way at looking at any achievement lists for back then.

Looking at the games that came out that year, Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 3, Dishonored, Max Payne 3, Far Cry 3, The Walking Dead, Sleeping Dogs were all games I've played.

Just not sure when I played them, as I was always playing catch up having not bought the console until a couple of years after it was released. And I had way less disposal income back then, so would rarely play games on day one.

@nessisonett Haha I never went that far in lectures but did have my laptop next to me in the library simulating all the games until the next youth intake day.
I felt a bit bad tapping up 15 year olds the day they became available but I did win 4 champions leagues in a row with Stockport county & having them build a new Stadium and naming it after me😂.

I’m really hoping the PlayStation version of FM ends up being good. My PC & laptop can’t run it anymore with max leagues & player database. LMA manager was excellent back in the day & should’ve never gone away.
