@Tasuki I dont think thats always the case however (and this has happened since games were a thing) really good games get overlooked and forgotten in favour of flavours of the day. Unlike movies - you cant play 2-3 modern day games a day as a critic - thats impossible. So the critics gravitate to and play the most popular games.

Its finally over and we have out top 10! The outstanding Horizon Zero Dawn wins the Forum Best Game of All Time Megapoll. Even its photo mode is better than most other full games. The characters, lore, story and combat are a cut above and its amazing in house engine is testament to the designers skill. What a game and thouroughly deserved! The rest of the top 10 are decked out and we now have our complete TOP 50 Best games of all time as voted for by over 60 contributers, over 1689 posts and a huge dedication from the community. Every single vote has been important. However the regular contributers this ones for you, without your contribution these polls would not work - it would be a waste of time. Horizon may not have taken home as many GOTY awards as it wanted to last year, but it took home the only one that mattered!
I won't argue with democracy, even if I disagree. Horizon won fair and square.
Great top 10! I've played all, but Mass Effect 2, which I should get to soon enough.
