Topic: Tokyo Xanadu Discussion ~ From The Creator's of Trails of Cold Steel ~

Hey guys! You know by now I'm one of the biggest fanatics of the Trails of Cold Steel series and Tokyo Xanadu also developed by Nihon Falcom struck a chord. The game obviously uses the same assets and software engine as ToCS I & II, but it feels so fresh thanks to its real-time battles. Granted the battle system is definitely pretty basic, but its elemental and attack type Rock-Paper-Scissors element adds a surprising amount of depth to the game! A shame that the "True Ending" is only available on the PS4 version of the game... Anyways are there any other fans of the game on these forums?

@ReanSchwarzer7 I've not got the game yet and to be honest I didant even realize the ps4 version was out over here yet?I'm in the UK by the way.
I loved Trails of Cold Steel but only played the first and am waiting for the ps4 versions to come out before picking up the second game.
Have you got the ps vita version then?what do you mean by true ending though?that's a bit of a cop out if you have got the wrong system then isant it??
What's the story like?is it serious or light hearted?And is the game like Cold Steel such as school setting/Bonding points etc?I'm very much interested despite having a ridiculous back log as well as games i have on order

Oh you aren't alone with the first Cold Steel.Altogether it took me about 95 hours to complete but I didant really get into it until about 10 hours in.Persona on the other hand took me 115 hours to complete and was hooked from the beginning.
Will keep an eye out for a sale on this one.

@Wazeddie22 It was on-sale for $20 in NA on PSN in January, but that was the first and only time Tokyo Xanadu has been on-sale digitally since its release on Vita.
