Topic: What do you plan on pre ordering with your PS5 console?

@paperluigi1000 Its a 'launch window' game, so in the first 3 months of of PS5 coming out.

@JohnnyShoulder Yeah, that was welcome news. Also the PS Plus Collection for PS5 takes care of the games of Sony's I haven't played yet, plus I'll be able to keep my copys sealed.

I will probably leave it until 2021, put on a bit too much weight this year so gonna lose a couple of stone and once my targets hit buy the PS5 as a reward.

Also yet to play GoT and FF7 remake. So yeah I'm holding off for a bit.

@WCB Yeah good news on that front, a couple of tiles which I've not pkayed on the PS Plus collection. I still have Uncharted 4 sealed and a copy of GoW hanging round.

@Wavey84 I've got a 49" TV and personally I think 4k content looks stunning on it. Of course a bigger screen will be better, depending on your living arrangements, but i think you will be ok with a 55" tv.

@JohnnyShoulder In work sat at a computer and at home I've gotten gradually lazier. My crosstrainers belt worn away last year and I never replaced it, put it by my shed and well that's rusted to death now. And the final nail is my meds finally worked so my thyroid is under control but my metabolism has slowed to normal levels yet I'm still eating the same.

The bonus is I will look like a proper santa if I find a suit for Xmas!

It's hard getting the motivation to restart exercising man, was never really an issue until my youthful energy has up and left with my ability to say no to pork pies.

I haven't decided yet personally. Probably maxing out my PSN funds and then picking from there.

Demon's Souls Remake for sure. I'm a fangirl for that release. Aside from that, I might pre-order Godgall to have another game to play and something to play with others if it's $60. $70 is too much though and I'm not paying that for it. Demon's Souls is just getting me to spend that $70.

I have refreshed all morning, but I finally made it and placed a pre-order on Fnac (French retailer). Ordering a PS5 from another country felt like a strange thing to do, but I really want one somewhat close to launch day.

@Kidfried Well done and hopefully there are no hiccups along the way.

I got on at 6am again today, and thought that I had luck at Target as there was a preorder button. But when I clicked on it, it said that they were now out of stock.

I'm going to keep trying all five major US retailers every day.

@JohnnyShoulder I'm really scared it's going to be cancelled or get lost in the mail... Just trying not to think about it.

@Unlucky13 You were pretty... unlucky. But for real though, the restocking today must have been really small, because most retailers sold out in mere seconds. The only reason I got mine is because I refreshed like a mad person, then clicked on pay as soon as possible, without even checking if everything was correct.

@Kidfried I want a PS5, but I'm just not going to sit at my PC all day hitting the button. Its insane if that's the only way. I guess I'll probably have to wait until they're available in stores all the time.

@Unlucky13 With some of my local game stores you can just order even if they don't have enough stock on launch day. They'll just add you to the list. You could try if something like that is possible in your area, and the wait isn't too long.

Hitting the refresh button for an hour wasn't the best use of my time, I will admit to that.

I managed to snag a pre-order for Demon Souls and Mile Morales on Shop To though no idea whether I'll get them on time (I do have a console pre-order). Will admit - it hurt paying close to £70 for Demon Souls. Can't see myself buying many games at release at that price. I mean, except for Knack 3.

@Kidfried We shall see. The only video game store within about 50 miles of me is a Gamestop. They used to have multiple locations, but closed all but one. I preordered and paid ahead for my PS2 at a Gamestop back in the day and still didn't get one until months afterwards, even as other stores had them physically in stock to sell before I got mine. And with the continuing pandemic, I'd feel a lot safer ordering online if I can.

Being honest, nothing yet. I might have to wait until the Christmas for demon souls and miles morales, with cyberpunk in spring for my birthday. Day one on my ps5 will be god of war backwards compatibility. Haven't played it and looking forward to one of the generations best games with the full boost on!

@Arugula I actually think that this is the best release lineup since the PS2. I had absolutely zero interest in any PS3 or PS4 games at release for almost a year after they came out.

In terms of hardware, I got a second controller. Tony Hawk demands local multiplayer, hehe. For software, well... I'm sticking with my current games. I still need to play Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.
