Topic: Transfer part of data from PS4 to ps5 for dad and son

So currently my husband and son both play on the PS4 under my husband’s account. I have bought a ps5 for Christmas and the idea is that that will stay downstairs and the PS4 will go in my sons room. Husband plays fifa and son plays fortnite - is it possible for only the fifa data to be transferred over to the ps5 so that my husband can access that downstairs? I’m not sure how it all works and whether I need to buy anything before Christmas morning so that my son doesn’t lose his fortnite data on PS4 and my husband can play fifa that was previously on PS4 🤯

Do you have the PS+ Subscription service?

I’m not sure whether it’s ps+ but there is a subscription.

If you have PS+, you can get your husband to upload the saves on the PS4 to the cloud. Then download the saves (which are on the cloud) to the PS5.

Ok great, thanks for your replies. Will a new account need to be set up for then or can they both login on husbands account?

Sorry, and if I need to buy a USB stick any idea how much GB it needs to be approx?
