Two Point Hospital, it feels like a spiritual successor to Theme Hospital. It's a lot less punishing when it comes to keeping your business running without hitting bankruptcy, and has a lot of customization and items to unlock. Interestingly enough if you play it on Extra you can download not just the base game but the Jumbo Edition too which includes quite a few DLCs. I might try Two Point University next. Neither are games I'd try to platinum but they do go well with audiobooks or Netflix. I really like how you can save templates of your various rooms too, it really helps to arrange and operate each hospital. Each time you unlock a new hospital you encounter new illnesses and effects on the environment such as earthquakes and colder climates.
@GirlVersusGame
Yeah I gave it a go a few months back and really enjoyed completing the first few hospitals and learning the mechanics, seeing the new ailments/diseases etc. Unfortunately I fell away from it after maybe the fifth one and have never had the motivation to go back to it.
Same as you, it's not a game I could be bothered to worry too much about trophies with but enjoyable for the experience and nostalgia maybe.
@sorteddan That's where templates help to keep me playing. If I had to rebuild each room over and over again for 5 prestige I'd get nothing else done. I learned from games like Evil Genius 2 (such a good game) that layout is so important, there's just something so satisfying about watching what was once chaos flow so effortlessly and effectively. My next hospital is going to be in the old nuclear district, I expect glowing patients.
