At least it's not a Spider-Man Remastered situation where it was originally not even going to let you transfer your saves from the PS4 version over to PS5
@TheFrenchiestFry If it’s £20 like Re:Mind then no chance. If it’s about £7 then sure, it’s not like it’ll make me dislike the game any more. Plus the fighting was decent so more of that yes please.
I'm still interested in the games I was already interested in, but that's about all I can say about it.
They didn't need to do too much. But announcing the Plus games, a Hades port or... maybe shorten it by half. Any of those would have been enough to make it decent enough. Now it was a time waster.
The Deathloop and Returnal stuff was pretty convincing. I'm at least a bit more interested in those than I was before, so I guess... that's a positive?
Horizon is going to get its own State of Play. Or be part of an hour long SoP. It would have taken all the attention if it was added to this State of Play. I don't understand why anyone would expect Sony to do that from a marketing standpoint.
So I missed it, but looks like it was about what I expected. Not too surprised about FF7R expansion on PS5. I guess that’s a reasonable approach. I own the PS4 version and haven’t played it yet, so I’m fine with the free upgrade and being charged to the DLC.
I was already pretty excited about Returnal and Kena.
Did they announce the PS Plus games for March?
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy I wonder what the situation is then with PS+. Is Sony still trying to strike up something with some publisher at the eleventh hour and can’t close the deal? Or maybe because March has 5 Wednesdays they will wait until second week of the month before the release the games.

I thought it was ok, but I was not expecting a triple A E3 style blow out. Returnal, Kena, Sifu, Oddworld, Solar Ash and Deathloop are all games that I would potentially play.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Yea, I turned around a bit on the State of Play too. Just thinking about the upcoming months there are more games coming out then I'll ever be able to play, so I don't know what I was expecting more than this.
... except for a Hades port. I really hoped for a Hades port.
@Kidfried Yeah Hades would have been sweet, but Super Massive have been known to take their time to avoid crunch. And suppose covid has not helped things. Still, an announcement would have been nice, or anything just to confirm it actually is coming to PS.
I would have got it for Switch by now, but the Joy Con face buttons hurt my fingers and thumb for these types of games.

All this talk about a big State of Play and wheter or not it's coming still. I do think we're due something. We've already seen PS staff hinting more updates in the coming months, and I think a somewhat bigger State of Play to enter the fall would make sense.
An August 26th date or something, to announce the release date of Horizon, is what I'm expecting. You?
