This started happening about a month ago. Randomly, now a few times a week, my controllers keep disconnecting. I have to pair them again to the console. They will work for awhile, I'll watch a Netflix movie or play a game. Then other times when I turn them back on, they flash white lights rapidly. I've seen some older posts about just pairing them again, but that isn't a solution. The batteries are good in both controllers. They are the original controllers when the original PS4 console came out. It doesn't make sense why the bluetooth pairing keeps getting unpaired and disconnecting!
This has begun happening to us in the last week or so. It is EXTREMELY frustrating. It's at the point where the only way to fix it is to hard reset the ps4 which is a pain because if the controllers won't work it has to but put into rest mode. Have tried literally everything and this is on a slim that I bout on Black Friday not even 6 months ago!
I actually have had this happen a few times too. It seems to sort itself after a few hours and a reset but it’s really annoying. I’m on a Pro bought start of the year.
It's continuing to happening to me. Controllers just drop connection for no reason. Battery still good in both and were charged up. The easiest way to repair, is to open the PS App on your phone, then navigate the PS menus and go to controllers and select them to pair. That gets them paired again. But it's super annoying.
I suspect there was some firmware or software update to the controller or the PS4 console that is causing the issue. Playstation Support seems non-existent and I can't find any other permanent fixes. It happens almost every other day, when i try to turn on one of my controllers. White flashing light!
No Playstation Support on the weekend either, they are closed.
@Ridwaano Already reset both of my controllers a ton of times. Occasionally they still keep dropping. Sony needs to look into this issue with multiple people having it. Probably software/firmware related.
Did anyone ever find a fix for this, both my controllers keep randomly disconnecting aswell. The battery is fine in both of the controllers and is highly frustrating when it happens. Some days it will do it and other days they will be fine.
Has anyone experienced any problems with the controller disconnecting during the beta testing of the PS4? It was working fine but when I downloaded Cold War it started the disconnection and flashing.
@kendrick90 has been happening to me when I’m trying to play mission 3 on Cold War and won’t let me progress any further, multiplayer and zombie works fine tho?!?!
This has started happening to us in the most recent week or thereabouts. It is Very disappointing. It's at where the best way to fix it is to hard reset the ps4 which is a torment since, in such a case that the regulators won't work it needs to yet place into rest mode. Have attempted in a real sense everything and this is on a thin that I session on The shopping extravaganza following Thanksgiving not so much as a half year back!
It's a daily occurence for me lately, and certainly nothing to do with the cleanliness
of my ps4 , it is perfectly clean.
I'm presuming no one here has found the solution?!?!
