I'm confused as to what is happening as of late up until half 4 in the afternoon I'm getting my regular 280mb download speed as soon as half 4 hits I'm getting 46 mb and the download speeds of game triple if not more in terms of how long it takes to get them downloaded. Any ideas as to what this could be down to? I find Its between half 4 and say 11 ish of an evening my mate who's based up in Liverpool is having the same issue
@NickWba20 Could be do to lockdown, but you would need to check with your isp. If it is just your ps4 this is happening to, Sony have been bottlenecking bandwidth speeds to ease the load on everyone's internet.

@JohnnyShoulder It's just the ps4 from half 4 onwards. Think I'm going to say it's due to peak times sonys servers getting bombarded around that time along with the bandwidth cap on the ps servers.
