Topic: Is there a way to see what I’ve previously bought from the PlayStation Store without owning a PS3?

I’m considering buying a PS3, but before I do I’d like to remind myself what games I’ve bought from the PlayStation Store when I previously owned one. Is there a way to do this without the console?

Just sign into your web based Sony account and go to purchase history. Everything you ever bought will be there.

@Shigurui Thanks! I found the right website, but whenever I try to view my transaction history it won’t load. Oh well, I ordered a PS3, so I’ll find out in a few days. Hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised by what I own!

@Bentley-Ma- Yeah the new site can be hit and miss. If you have a Vita the download list will show all game purchases on Vita, PS3, and PS4 for some weird reason. Have fun with your PS3, hopefully there's some gems you forgot all about!

@Pditty1980 There’s several games I’d like to play through again. Plus games can be bought for as little as 50p from places like Cex, so it’s also a way for me to save money, because instead of spending between £10 and £60 on a PS4 game, I can just pick up a cheap PS3 game and have just as much fun.

@Pditty1980 I’ve ordered my PS3 from Cex. I’m hoping it’s in good condition, but I have a bad feeling it won’t be. I’ve also read some of the reviews and a few of them said that the console came without a controller, so that’s another thing that concerns me.

@Bentley-Ma-

Apart from a few superfiscal scratches the one I got from cex Is perfect and it came with a controller, unfortunately it was broken, but I went in, (luckily this was when were at a lower covid level) and they replaced it no problem !

But since your buying from cex online If there is something wrong when you get it, I have also used their customer support (for different things) and always found them helpful!

@Pditty1980 That’s good to know! I forgot that I actually bought my PS4 Slim from Cex and I’ve had no problems with that, so hopefully the PS3 will be fine!

@Bentley-Ma- I have so much love for my PS3. Here's hoping your order arrives safe and useable!

@RogerRoger I’m sure it’ll be in working order! My PS3 didn’t get much love when I used to own one because I’d mostly use my 360 and then PS4 once that was out. I’m looking forward to playing some of the exclusives I missed.

Got my PS3 and so far it seems to be in perfect working order! Controller is in good condition too, so that’s a relief.

I won’t bother starting another thread for this question - Anyone know why my PS3 won’t stay connected to my wi-fi? It keeps disconnecting every 10 seconds or so with the message ‘Can’t connect to access point’. My PS4 stays connected just fine. I connected to my phones hotspot and had no problems. I live in a flat owned by a college, so I don’t have access to the router because I use the colleges visitor wi-fi.

@Bentley-Ma- Glad to hear the PS3 and its controller arrived in decent condition... well, wireless connection issue aside, that is. Google shows a lot of people complaining about the PS3's wireless chip, but also an equal number of stories finding fault with their routers. Whatever the cause, it does seem to be a somewhat common problem. Without taking both the PS3 and the router in question to a technician, to discover which is responsible for the fault, I'm not sure what to suggest. Sorry.

@RogerRoger Ah well, not like I need to be online really. I’ll just use my phones hotspot to download game updates and then play offline.

@Bentley-Ma- If you have a laptop you could use your phone as hotspot with it, then link the PS3 to the laptop via ethernet creating a bridged connection. That worked with my old 360 which had no wifi.

Praise the Sun, and Mario too.

@Bentley-Ma- The only time I connect my PS3 to the internet nowadays is to sync trophies. Unless you're planning a large digital spending spree before Sony shut down the PS3's store, I'm sure a hotspot will cover your patches and profile uploads, for sure.
