God of War III Remastered (PS4)
$9.99/£7.99 (-50%)
God of War III Remastered may have been one of the last hurrahs for the series’ old-school, fixed perspective style – but it’s still an absolute doozy. Presented pristinely on PS4, this trilogy closer has some of the most epic moments you’ll find on any console, including an opening boss fight against Poseidon that remains utterly jaw-dropping even today.

Immortals Fenyx Rising (PS5)
$11.99/£6.99 (-80%)
Developed primarily by the team that crafted the gigantic Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Immortals Fenyx Rising is an open world fantasy RPG with an emphasis on fluid combat and puzzle solving. You play as the customisable Fenyx — a hero tasked with ridding the realm of a corruption spread by Typhon — a key figure in Greek mythology. In fact, Immortals is heavily based on Greek myth, but the story's told through humorous character interactions and offbeat narration. As such, it can be a fun adventure for players of all ages.
Invisible, Inc. (PS4)
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
In a genre that's traditionally concerned more with open combat, Invisible, Inc.'s stealth focus is a revelation. Chock full of smart game design, you're gifted plenty of options in how you approach your mission, and despite having so many tools at your disposal, it remains satisfyingly challenging, without ever crossing over into being unfair. While the roguelike progression could potentially be a downside for some, the high level of customisation around the difficulty settings will swiftly rob you of this complaint. Simply put, if you have even a passing interest in turn-based strategy games, you shouldn't let this exceptional title sneak under your radar.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (PS5)
$29.99/£24.74 (-25%)
One of Capcom's more left-field games in recent memory, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a compelling combination of strategy and action. Playing as the guardian of a maiden with the power to clear a sinister corruption, you must tactically place villagers of various types around each stage in order to help ward off enemies that spawn at nightfall, when the game becomes a hack-and-slash. While it can be tough at times, there's real invention and charm to this unique title.
Last Day of June (PS4)
$4.99/£3.99 (-75%)
Last Day of June is a beautiful rumination on the ways death and fate are indelibly intertwined. It's also a competent puzzler with a winning sense of style. Repetitiveness and a slightly predictable structure stymie the proceedings somewhat, but never enough to ruin what is an otherwise lovely experience.
Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story (PS5)
$8.99/£7.49 (-70%)
Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story does exactly what it says on the tin, charting the history of one of the UK's best known game designers. Featuring many playable Llamasoft games from the early days through to today, it's a fascinating look at one company's psychedelic contributions to the industry. If you're at all interested in gaming history, you shouldn't overlook this one.
Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection (PS5)
$32.49/£25.99 (-35%)
An agonisingly in-depth archive of the series' importance to the industry, Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection is the kind of kompilation the franchise has always deserved. While its absent online features do put a small dampener on the bundle at launch, the sheer scale of this kollection and the quality of its supplementary materials make it a must buy – even for kurious passers-by who may find themselves discovering the franchise for the first time.
Octopath Traveler II (PS5)
$23.99/£19.99 (-60%)
Octopath Traveler II is a borderline must play for fans of more traditional Japanese RPGs. It's built like a classic but with modern design elements, resulting in a refined role-playing experience. An engaging turn-based combat system and a frankly gorgeous visual style make this a seriously impressive sequel.
Pepper Grinder (PS5)
$5.24/£4.54 (-65%)
Pepper Grinder has a super fun core mechanic, and it's fully explored within its refreshingly short runtime. It's an action platformer in which you use a large drill to navigate through certain surfaces, and it feels great to leap around like a power tool dolphin. With simple progression and a bunch of additional mechanics changing the gameplay up just enough, this short but sweet little game never outstays its welcome.

13 Sentinels is one of those that I wish I could forget all about so that I could play it for the first time again. What a treat.
The Sherlock Holmes game looks cool. I've been tempted by it in the past, but it's tough to go wrong for $4. May give it a shot after my Code Veronica X play through is done.
Quick Edit: There's a bundle for the same price that includes both The Awakened and The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. There's another deal for The Absolute Deduction Bundle which includes Sinking City PS5 and 3 other Holmes games for $11.99. 6 investigation style games for under $20, I think that I may just dive on on head first.

Not much on this deal hopefully something else goes up as well i mean reanimal is the only new game on there
...i mean reanimal is the only new game on there...?
I did not see Reanimal at all. Am I not in the right place?
@MrPeanutbutterz Do you mean it's the same prices every time...cause when people say same games, I don't get it.
Invisible Inc is really really really good IMHO, for those who have not played it yet
I appreciate these updates. My PS Plus sub is about to lapse (because if they won't discount for DoP, stuff 'em), so my backlog is gonna shrink somewhat in a mere matter of hours. There's a couple on the list of interest, and cheap too! Although I should probably head-down over Lego Batman, and DOA6LR is out in just over a fortnight, which I will be making much space for. Might even get mesel' a proper fight stick!
All these games kinda seem like ass.
@Svark i think it is yes its definetly on there in england it is anyway
A wild sale appears.
Great time to harpoon Dave the Diver, with the DLC just around the corner. I played it back when I was on PS Plus Extra and now that I let my subscription lapse, I'm more than happy to buy the base game and the coming DLC.

I am in the U.S. and unfortunately, Reanimal is not there. Saddened because I was hoping to grab it in a sale.
@Svark thats a shame im sure it will be on offer soon again
I recommend Kunitsu-Gami to anyone who hasn’t tried it. I have played over 200 hours. Phenomenal game
@MrPeanutbutterz well it is
@For-Kier cool?
Not much here or I've played the ones that are interesting
I have 15 games on my Wishlist and none of them are on sale. Zero. As long as I've had a wishlist I can't ever remember none of them being on sale before, there's always 1 or 2.
So as far as sale's go, not the best for me.
@KyushuTrail
I have never heard of that game before. I looked it up and the game looks fantastic. Thanks for the recommendation.
@The_Wailing_Doom No problem! I tried the demo before I bought it, but I’m not sure if the demo is still available. If you get it, I hope you love it
Amazon is on a roll!
Pepper Grinder is a fantastic little game, I highly recommend for passing a few hours.
I grabbed FFVII: Rebirth for £19.99 from the PS store over the weekend. I plan to replay Remake near the end of the year followed by Rebirth and get Revelation when it's released early next year.
I'm assuming the big summer sale will be in 2 weeks (and one day) time?
Hoping next sale has a little discount for SAROS tomorrow, quite fancy spending my birthday money on that.
All year long writing about one sale after another...
My wishlist of about 25 games hadn't had a good deal in years i think. Since Sony's competition got weaker and many buy consoles without a disc drive they don't really try anymore. Sales got a lot worse.
I was never a fan of discs and started buying on PSN but went backwards as games in sales got a lot more expensive.
I really hope the next consoles still have drives as buying on a sale in retail (last was God of War Ragnarok for 27€) and selling them (22€) is the only way i see myself investing in that hobby at all.
