Desilets revealed he was joining THQ to head up the publisher's new Montreal studio last summer, but was forced to take a year out from the industry per his contract with Ubisoft.
Desilets was a pivotal figure in the success of the Assassin's Creed franchise, masterminding the game's direction since its inception. Naturally he's an enormous coup for THQ.
No one really knows what Desilets will be working on yet, but apparently core games boss, Danny Bilson, will be finding out over the phone this afternoon. Any wild guesses?
