Re: Review: Secret of Mana (PS4)

@themcnoisy @get2sammyb @Tasuki I agree that it might be a bit overrated, but a 6/10 is a joke of a score. There are doggy dung quality games that score higher then that on this website and Secret of Mana is at the very least a 7/10. It seems the reviewer thought the game was going to built from the ground up like the upcoming Final Fantasy remake which it was obvious based on the developer's updates during the game's development that wasn't going to be the case. Also I hear that the game runs smoothly as long as you have around 2-3 GB of your Vita memory card space free.

@Tasuki Lootboxes are a bit different, but are predatory, however microtransactions and day one dlc are very anti-consumer and in some cases are required to see the true ending of a game's story. These are absolutely wrong, and sadly I had to bite with the Sword Art Online: Hollow Rewlization dlc which is essentially the last 30-35% of the main story but unless I REALLY love a game I won't do this. The amount of content in the base game was excellent, but story dlc, unless it's like an epilogue after the main storyline is finished is absolutely appalling...

@bbtothe Yeah, between lootboxes and microtransactions gamers are being bent over at an alarming rate. I'm sure the microtransaction and lootbox defense force on this website would say if you don't like it or can't afford it to quit gaming, but alot of us were gaming long before these issues even existed. I just want complete games at launch not a $60 price to start, with microtransactions and lootboxes up the wazzoo.

Re: PSN Down for Many as Monster Hunter: World Launches

@nhSnork Obviously I'm fighting them on this as it's detrimental to my only potential source of income, but I might just end up needing to switch ISP's so I can continue reviewing Nintendo games plus the Wii U browser "which I can't use due to my system being blocked" is WAY more functional than other gaming browsers due to its still ahead-of-its-time HTML5 support. Pretty much anything HTML related runs better on the Wii U browser than any other console-based or mobile browsers out there...
