Kyroki commented on Feature: 5 Crucial Resident Evil 7 Questions A...:

This looks like a really solid survival horror title in itself, much less a Resident Evil game. I'm honestly looking forward to it. I know it is a huge change from traditional Resident Evil games but as I say, if you look at this from a survival horror Outlast/P.T. kind of way, it looks solid.

@get2sammyb I guess you could say that you shouldn't really think of this as a more 'traditional' Resident Evil game. I do think, however, that this is the direction the future titles will go, even if they are poorly received. But I think this one should do fine.

Kyroki commented on PS4 Firmware Update 4.5 Coming Soon:

I can't see External HDD support being implemented. Yet. I think it would arrive at firmware update 5.0. But hey, I could be wrong.

From my own perspective, there isn't anything I can think of that I want. But I'm sure if there are some niche little additions, I'll be sure to take full advantage of them.

Still playing through the original. It was a PS+ game quite some time ago if I'm not mistaken. I'm enjoying it and I think I'd really enjoy the sequel. It just isn't a game I'll fork out £40 for.

Just like @AlexStinton, I, too, have been watching the SMITE World Championships as I am a bit of a "SMITE nerd". I've been playing a good few rounds of Arena which is always fun.

I've also been rattling through some of my backlog. Mafia III is the biggest culprit to my weekends time (SMITE is a close second, probably) and I've also been playing some Grim Fandango Remastered. I've also been having a blast playing Diablo 3's 'Darkening of Tristram' event.

I played this for an hour there [after I made my first comment] and done a few different races and one thing SMS need to do is improve the AI. It's annoying when you try to overtake another car on the inside of the corner where you have the nose of your motor ahead a tad and the AI just stick to the racing line and turn into you as if you aren't there. The AI have very little recognition to your placement on the track, especially when it comes to cornering. That's the biggest issue with the game. And yes, the menus could do with some work, too.

I wish SMS would continue to update Project CARS and make it better. Like adding in new cars and circuits in free updates. Now that I think on it, there's only so much they could do, if anything. Still, I have the first game and I'm content enough with it so I'll probably give Project CARS 2 a miss.

I hope they let it rest. U4's ending felt like it wrapped up Nate's days of treasure hunting. I even hope they don't do a spin off (not that I'll play it). I think ND should focus on The Last of Us: Part II for now and perhaps think about a possible new IP.

Kyroki commented on Feature: The Promising PS4 Games of January 2017:

If I'm getting any of these titles - this month, at least - it'll be Resident Evil 7. I played the demo and while back and it was intense. I love getting my hands on a good horror title and I think Resident Evil 7 will fulfill.

I am actually a little bit interested in Gravity Rush 2. I don't think I'll be getting it day one, though. However, it all comes down to when I finish Gravity Rush on my Vita. (I bought the vita version before the PS4 remaster came out).

All I'll say is at least there's something for [almost] everyone.

EDIT: Also, Tales of Berseria looks quite good. I'm playing through Tales of Zestiria currently and I'm actually really enjoying it. So I'd possibly pick up Tales of Berseria when I finish Tales of Zestiria. When, though, is the question.

Kyroki commented on Feature: The 10 Best PS4 Soundtracks of 2016:

I felt Unravel had an excellent soundtrack! I streamed a playthrough on twitch about a month ago and for a strong portion of the game I was just mesmerised by the soundtrack. I thought it was brilliant!

ABZÛ is another fantastic one also. It just gave that chilled out exploration vibe which I really enjoyed and it's probably a neccessity for a game like that!

SMITE and Mafia 3 for me. I can't seem to put SMITE down at the moment, as I've seen myself playing well into the early hours. Like now, for instance, as it's 2:10am. And Mafia 3 introduced Car Customisation and Street Races in its recent update, so that has swung me back onto the streets of New Bordeaux. I hope all you lot have a safe and merry christmas! And I hope Christoper Cringle brings you all the gaming goodies you've asked for!

Has it even got anything to do with the games? I'm sure there'll be a reference here and there. The animus is probably in it, right? Nevertheless, it's probably only being called an 'Assassin's Creed' movie to give it some recognition.

I've been playing my fair share of SMITE recently. I feel like after every game of arena or Joust I play I just find myself getting better and better. I've also been thinking about starting a playthrough of Heavy Rain, having finished Beyond: Two Souls through the week, but I'm still indecisive about that.

Diablo 3 and SMITE for me mainly this weekend. Just been feeling really chilled out lately and I had actually taken a notion to have a break from clearing my backlog for a weekend. I might play some DiRT Rally and some FIFA 17 to keep me occupied aswell.

Hmm, I'm torn about this. I loved seasons 1 & 2 and I've been waiting on season 3 being announced for ages! Maybe I got my expectations a little high but I'll definitely play it at some point. I'm interested to know where they go with it. Glad to see Clem back!!

Trying to finish up Dying Lights 'The Following' DLC still. I've also been getting stick into DiRT Rally this past while, so I'll be playing that this weekend. Maybe some Battlefield 1 and Mafia III aswell to fill in some gaps.

Having just finished the final chapter of King's Quest, I've been undecisive as to what I should play. So, I've came to the conclusion that'll he tackling a bit of everything at my disposal on my PS4 this weekend: DiRT Rally; Titanfall 2; Grim Fandango; Zombie Army Trilogy and Mafia III. If that isn't variety then I don't know what is.

Bloody hell. Why do loads of game developers rush their projects and cut corners just to cross the line first? I'm sure the consumers and the community would rather wait for a game that actually works rather than have one that doesn't. Wish devs would see that.

Excellent review @AnchorSam_9. I was actually thinking about getting this for christmas, but now I know that the Multiplayer is Microtransaction Central, I'm going to pass. I still would like to get Modern Warfare Remastered, but I'll get it if and when it gets its own standalone release.

I'm getting my Rocket League fix this weekend as I prepare for the Unofficial Push Square Rocket League Doubles Tournament this Tuesday night. As it's Hallowe'en weekend I'll be tempted to get my spook on, so I may either continue my first playthrough of Alien: Isolation or I may revisit teen horror title Until Dawn. Now that I think on it, I would love to get Hayden Panettiere back on my TV screen again!

I'm taking it to the Battlefield (1) and playing lots of Conquest this weekend. I've played a few games already and it's an excellent game and what I've played of the campaign is very solid. I'm also continuing my EPL season with Spurs as I aim to take them to Premier League glory! I do also hope to start one of the freebie titles Resident Evil.

Having not played it for so long, I delved back into Rocket League for the first time in what feels like forever! Had a few games with @themcnoisy and @Quintumply last night and it was excellent to get back into the action!

I've also been playing loads of Mafia 3. I love the whole '1940's gangster' setting so much and with the music on the radio stations being top notch, I've spent over half of my time with the game just cruising around singing along to Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash.

My PS Vita has been getting some love aswell lately. I'll be playing through Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty and Freedom Wars.

I'm hacking and slashing my way through Tales of Zestiria, which is incredible by the way! I've also been making a few signings in the transfer window on FIFA 17 in the never ending dilemma to strengthen my squad or tie a few key players down by handing them new contracts. I do also want to get my scare on this weekend, so once the early hours appear I'll be seen playing a nice survival horror title like Outlast or Alien: Isolation.

I've recently started Grim Fandango Remastered in which I've been stumped several times, having only played for about 2 hours. Nevertheless, I've plowed through and I shall carry on! I'll also be leading the mighty Tottenham Hotspur FC to Champions League glory in FIFA 17, a title which has been gifted to me as my aunt bought her son the game which he had already bought himself. Lastly, I'll be preparing for Winter in real life and in game, by continuing one of my playthroughs on Don't Starve.

I've been revisiting some of the PS2 classics on my PS4 this weekend! Starting off with some GTA III and then some Rogue Galaxy which, by the way, is a fantastic JRPG! Speaking of JRPGs, I've been making my way through Tales of Zestiria trying to cure the lands of malevolence.
