Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Sold Farely Well On Its Second Exclusive Platform.
We’re unsure whether Tecmo Koei consider 370,000 sales of their Playstation 3 exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 but they sound fairly decent to us. Especially when you consider the game is a port of an XBOX 360 “exclusive” that launched a year or so earlier.
If you haven’t checked out Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 yet, then you probably should. We thought it was really good.

Dead Or Alive Games Generally Look Like This.
And another exclusive bites the dust. According to a retail source of Go Fanboy, Dead Or Alive 5 is in development for multiple platforms — suggesting Tecmo’s “in-your-face” beat ‘em up is likely to see release on Playstation 3 aswell as on the franchise’s previous home, the XBOX 360.
A while back Tecmo Koei announced they were working on a franchise that would no longer be exclusive. Dead Or Alive 5 jumped to mind back then, and will continue to linger until an official announcement from the company.
Treat as rumour for now, mind.

Quantum Looks Like It's Going To Use Every Inch Of The Playstation 3's Hardware.
With two pretty big Playstation 3 exclusives in the works, Japanese developers Tecmo have become a pretty Sony oriented development house. A strange turn of events seeing as in the past the team we very much taken with Microsoft’s XBOX.
The reason for that? “The PS3 [is] the hardware with the highest specs,” reckons Quantum director Makoto Shibata.
“It’s not that Tecmo is shifting away from the Xbox 360. It’s about timing. From the beginning this [Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2] was seen as a PS3 title and it happens to be coming out at the same time as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.”
So there you have it. Tecmo are making Playstation 3 games just now. And by all accounts it looks like they’re going to rock. We can’t wait to go hands on with both Quantum and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Who's Up For More Ninja Gaiden Then?
Team Ninja’s newest commander in chief Yosuke Hayashi has confirmed “the future of an outstanding series”. The series being, of course, Ninja Gaiden.
Hayashi confirmed that demand for a Ninja Gaiden III had reached “fever pitch” claiming “what the consumers, the gamers are looking for is going to be the next chapter,” and, “that we’re in a position of being able to make that call, and to provide pure entertainment that’s going to be enjoyed by action gamers and our fans”.
Perhaps we’ll see something at E3?

Ivy... Still As Well Endowed On The PSP.
Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny may be a PSP game, but that’s not stopping Namco Bandai doing the very best job of rendering Ivy’s breasts to the very best of their ability.
That aside though, this game looks amazing.

Team Ninja's Yosuke Hayashi Talks Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
New boss-man of Team Ninja, Yosuke Hayashi was dignified to the end when prompted by Joystiq on previous head Itagaki. When asked if the release of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 was a “loss of face” like Itagaki had suggested, he simply dodged the question.
“Development began only after we read and heard about fan feedback … after Ninja Gaiden 2 came out last summer.”
Well defused Yosuke!
Yosuke also confirmed that Team Ninja are taking things “very seriously” when it comes to the prospect of DLC. Finally when prompted if the XBOX 360 would get Sigma 2 inspired camera fixes and tweaks, Yosuke confirmed that the ultimate edition is a “Playstation only experience”.
Looks like all that success in Japan is paying off for Sony at last.
