Beaterator on Playstation Portable Review.
Beaterator is not a game, but a portable music studio inside your Playstation Portable. While being a particularly powerful tool, Beaterator succeeds mainly because it’s aware of its strengths. If you’re a beginner with an interest in music production or an experienced musician looking to compose on the go — you’ll be hard pushed to find a more complete package than Beaterator.

Take-Two Are Heavily Involved In Playstation Motion Controller Development & L.A. Noire.
During an investor call today, Take-Two’s Ben Feder confirmed that the company have implemented Playstation Motion Controllers in “just about all” of their studios. While Feder didn’t address specific titles, he did claim, “everybody’s working with them to try to figure out new ways in which we can innovate and create the kind of content that this company is famous for”.
Feder also confirmed that Take-Two’s collaboration with Team Bondi to produce L.A. Noire is still going ahead. He claimed that while there was “nothing to announce” the project was still going and just left us with the teasing words “it’s very exciting and innovative”.
Argh, to say we’re excited over L.A. Noire would be to say the sky is blue.

Those Excited About Returning To Rapture Will Have To Wait A Little Longer.
Take-Two have announced that Bioshock 2 will be pushed back until the “first half of 2010″. Concerns have been raised over the game’s direction and “too many cooks” development approach over the past few months – surely some reasoning behind the delay.
Take-Two’s Chairman Strauss Zelnick publicly apologized about the setback in a press release:
“We recognize that our revised outlook for the balance of fiscal year 2009, due to both internal and external factors, is a disappointment. That said, we concluded that moving the release of BioShock 2 into fiscal year 2010 was the right decision for the product.”
That’s Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock 2, Max Payne 3 and Mafia II all pushed back now. Take Two’s investors must be pissed.

Agent Will Be An Espionage Title Set In The 1970s.
Rockstar’s exclusive Playstation 3 may have only been given a title at E3, but since then details have slowly trickled out about the game. Try this quote from Take Two’s Ben Feder, whereby he claims Agent will be “a game about espionage, set in the 1970s” and will be “very, very different” from the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
Speaking of GTA, when prompted as to whether the XBOX 360’s exclusive DLC would make it to PS3 he said, “We don’t talk about that, unfortunately.”
Alas, much as we like the look of that GTA content, we’d much rather have an entirely new game thank you Rockstar. We have high hopes for Agent.

You'll Have To Wait A Little Longer For Red Dead Redemption.
It seems the teams behind the development of Mafia II and Red Dead Redemption have asked for a little more time to perfect their games – something Take Two shareholders were advised would have an impact on their earnings for the rest of the financial year:
“[The delay is] to allow additional development time for the titles and to maximize their full potential in terms of the quality of the player experience and market performance.”
The delay will likely hold the games back until early 2010, but they could make the important holiday ‘09 period by a whisker.

Would You Kindly Announce What Platform Bioshock 2 Is On?
Take Two have confirmed that one of the most anticipated sequels this year, Bioshock 2, will release in Europe on Friday, October 30th; with the US version landing a few days later on November 3rd. The platforms are still listed as TBA so it’s possible there may be some “timed exclusivity” deal for Microsoft someone to buy secure, but we guess anything like that will be announced at E3.
