CES 2010: Sony Show Off Super Stardust HD In Three-Dimensions

Sony reaffirmed their dedication to pushing 3D last night at CES, by announcing a range of 3D enabled televisions, aswell as partnerships with broadcasters and IMAX. In pushing 3D, Sony made it very clear that the Playstation 3 will be one of their big avenues for the tech, announcing a firmware update that will make the PS3 3D compatible.

Among the update games Sony are showing at CES are Gran Turismo 5 and an updated Super Stardust HD.

We posted about Dead Nation yesterday when the game’s title leaked. Now we’ve got the trailer. The PSN exclusive is a zombie shoot ‘em up from the developers of Super Stardust HD. Carrying a grindhouse like feel, it’s an isometric shooter in a similar vein as Burn, Zombie, Burn!.

Hands up if you haven’t played Super Stardust HD. Ok, we see maybe one hand out of a room full of people. Well what’s your excuse then? It’s too expensive?! Well, hm, ok, you really should have bought it earlier but hey, you know what, we’ll let you off because today the game is celebrating its second birthday and as such will set you back just £1.59. That’s a massive pricedrop for a totally awesome game.
