We know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Do-do-do-doo-doo.” That’s ok though, we are too. SCEE have confirmed to CVG this morning that the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet will hit UK PSPs this November 20th. Yo, that’s not far away folks.

That Sackboy Nathan Drake Is Extremely Dashing.

Would you like to dress your Sackboy up as Nathan Drake, Chloe Frazer, some dudes from Motorstorm, the Helghast or… a tank? You’re totally going to need to preorder LittleBigPlanet PSP from GameStop then.

We really hope these costumes get released commercially too because, well, a Sackboy Drake is just too much for us to resist.

It’s Spaceman Sackboy… On A PSP…

We’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars today. But you know what’s exciting — having a PSPgo with both Chinatown Wars and LittleBigPlanet on the same system. Amazing. Still… That has very little to do with this story. We just wanted to say, once again, just how awesome Chinatown Wars is. ‘Cos it rocks.

A recent LittleBigWorkshop post has shown some of Sackboy’s costumes from the upcoming LittleBigPlanet PSP. Interestingly the post does note the words “DLC” — as if we ever imagined they wouldn’t do it.

Sackboy Will Find His Home In Japanese PSPs This December.

VG247.com have discovered a little tid-bit as part of a TGS fact sheet — LittleBigPlanet PSP is due to release in the East this December. We’re still listed as an “autumn” release here in Europe, hopefully Sony can provide a few more concrete details over the coming months.

Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Woooo!

Sackboy’s looking just as charming as ever in these newly released screens from LittleBigPlanet PSP. This scene depicted in the new set over at Joystiq shows Sackboy taking to the stage and demanding applause. It’s all so charming. Oh Sackboy, you make us swoon.

Sackboy To Be Lonely In LittleBigPlanet PSP, No Multiplayer Confirmed

Just To Clarify, You Will Only Be Seeing One Sackboy On Screen In LBP PSP.

Just To Clarify, You Will Only Be Seeing One Sackboy On Screen In LBP PSP.

For us, the selling point of LittleBigPlanet PSP is being able to create levels on the move. For some it will probably be participating in multiplayer sessions of LBP while in the garden or something. We’re afraid if your someone looking forward to the latter, LittleBigPlanet PSP will not support online multiplayer.

“It’s the one thing we’ve lost,” said senior producer Mark Green to Eurogamer.

“The system is physically capable of doing multiplayer, but perhaps not with the full physics system. On the technical side of things you lose a third of the processing power or a third of the system memory just to do multiplayer at all. With those limitations we couldn’t achieve it.”

Of course this is disappointing news but Green did go on to clarify that the game will feature full level sharing (ad-hoc/online). Personally, we’re still just as excited about LBP PSP as we were before. Apparently we’re weird for not playing much online LittleBigPlanet, but we honestly didn’t. We’ve read stories of this putting people off the game around the ‘net though. Are you one of those?
