#36: Patapon 2 on Playstation Portable.

We said: “Thanks to its low price-point, the fact that Patapon 2 feels more like an extension than a sequel is perfectly balanced with the fact that there is plenty of fun to be had, whether you’re a series veteran or a newcomer.”

We said: “Burn, Zombie, Burn! is an interesting return to old-school arcade gameplay; comical in its nods to retro exploitation vogue, yet complex in its scoring structure.”

There's Unlikely To Be Anymore Rock Band Unplugged DLC. But There's Still Tons To Choose From.

There's Unlikely To Be Anymore Rock Band Unplugged DLC. But There's Still Tons To Choose From.

With over 100 tracks already available for Rock Band Unplugged, Harmonix have decided to call an end to any new DLC for the title. For the time-being anyway. The company told Joystiq that Rock Band Unplugged has “run through [its] planned slate” and that they were “very pleased with the performance of the Rock Band Unplugged game on PSP, the Rock Band PSP bundle and PSPgo starter kit”.

Harmonix didn’t rule out future releases, but did state that the team are now busy working on the “Rock Band Network, weekly console DLC, and unannounced future projects”.

So Europe might be getting a shiny free copy of Gran Turismo PSP with their early-adopter purchase of Sony’s latest PSP Go, but what of the US? Actually, that’s not strictly true. People do like Avenged Sevenfold. They’re just a bit weird. A bit like the people who like Dream Theater, Motley Crue and Stone Temple Pilots. Meh, it’s all new DLC available from the Rock Band store. If you’re weird and you like that sort of music, go download.

Rock Band Unplugged on Playstation Portable Hands-On Impressions.

Rock Band Unplugged is essentially a compilation of the following parts: the concept of the Playstation 2’s Amplitude, a rock-and-roll background and the system-selling name of Rock Band. Oh, and there’s not really any electronic music either. Hell no, commercial rock all the way. Ahem.
