Project Trico - Consider Our Minds Blown.

We can’t imagine Playstation Lifestyle will be top of Sony’s Christmas card list this year. We posted earlier about the somehow leaked version of Team Ico’s new project, a video Sony were no doubt holding back for E3, or indeed intending never to release. Either way, Sony seemingly haven’t made strides to get YouTube to pull the video. Yet.

According to VG247 this morning the footage is real, and is in fact a year old trailer that has been circulating Sony offices internally for a while now. Somewhat disappointingly though, VG247 are also reporting that the grand E3 reveal may not happen – as the game is simply not advanced enough.

Damage limitation perhaps to once again increase hype?

Somewhat souring the excitement for E3, our friends over at PlaystationLifestyle.net have seemingly (somehow) managed to get their hands on the first trailer for Team Ico’s upcoming project, which they’re touting as being titled “Project Trico“.

Shite names aside, the footage is, well, pardon our language – fucking breathtaking – as it depicts an Ico-esque character climbing a board a giant feathered rat who appears to have had its wings cut off.

Best – premise – for – a – game – ever. Bare in mind, we absolutely have to treat this as rumour for now but, psst – it looks pretty real!
