Free Fairytale Fights DLC For Those Who Register Their Game.
If you’ve bought Fairytale Fights and you want to get $15 worth of free DLC, better get yourself over to Fairytale Fights’ website and register your game. If you do so within the first 90 days of release you’ll get four “new playable characters” and three new “PvP arenas”.
It seems a bit crafty DLC being ready this early, but, hey y’know, if they’re giving it out for free initially, no one can really complain too much can they?

Fairytale Fights on Playstation 3 Review.
There’s a lot of creativity in Fairytale Fights’ environments and art. It’s a great shame then, that such creativity isn’t apparent in the game’s core gameplay mechanics.

Y’all check it out. Fairytale Fights is getting a TV spot featuring Ron Jeremy and kissing ladies. Well, they would be kissing ladies, but the trailer is cut all sneakily so you don’t see any of that. Which is a shame. We’ll take Snow White any day of the week though.
Yes please.
We have a review of the game forthcoming.

Innocent In Appearance, Like The Game, These Fairytale Fights Sugar Discs Are Actually Rather Tasty.
When Playlogic sent us some Fairytale Fights themed candy through the mail this weekend, we didn’t know what to think. Like the game, the candy endorsed with the stylistic Little Red Riding Hood looked rather sweet. But knowing what we know about the game, we expected a horrible surprise hidden within the sugary discs. Thankfully, our reward for delving our teeth deep into the snack was a rich sugar hit — the kind of taste you get out of those big lumps of icing on Birthday cakes.
Served with a strong cup of tea, the Fairytale Fights themed candy really came into their own, offering a diverse tickle right across the palette. Our advice: don’t eat these while playing the game. For that, you’ll need a strong stomach.

Obscure: The Aftermath Will Hit PSP In Europe This Week.
Playlogic have announced that their pocketable survival horror romp – Obscure: The Aftermath – will hit the PSP in Europe this October 9th. The game will be available via UMD or PSP Go download, so the choice is yours.
The story follows a group of students who attend Fallcreek University and discover a mysterious black flower, which has hallucinogenic effects, causing hauntingly vivid dreams.
“This is a heart-pumping, thrill-seeking teen horror title that is loaded with dark humor, intense combat and an unusual blend of genuine gore,” said Rogier Smit, executive vice president of Playlogic Entertainment. “Combine that with stunning visuals, a unique story-driven plot and Obscure: The Aftermath delivers a truly horrific experience that will no doubt send a chill up your spine!”
The game includes a two player co-op mode to round out the package. We’re curious to see more of the game. Hopefully we’ll have a review for you soon.
In the meantime, check out the game’s website here.

Fairytale Fights Trailer.
The last Fairytale Fights teaser trailer was a bit disappointing. But this one, this one is brilliant. What appears to be a quiet day out walking for Little Red Riding Hood ends with blood and, erm, chainsaws. As the trailer depicts, “there’ll be no fairy-tale endings”.
