Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Sold Farely Well On Its Second Exclusive Platform.
We’re unsure whether Tecmo Koei consider 370,000 sales of their Playstation 3 exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 but they sound fairly decent to us. Especially when you consider the game is a port of an XBOX 360 “exclusive” that launched a year or so earlier.
If you haven’t checked out Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 yet, then you probably should. We thought it was really good.

Whoops-a-daisy. Free Trophies For Ninja Gaiden Sigma II Players.
We just want to say first up that this is not cool. It kinda makes a mockery of the trophy system and we hope Tecmo patch it quickly. Basically, Ninja Gaiden Sigma II – one of the hardest games on Playstation 3 – has an exploit that allows you to unlock some of the harder trophies just by watching replays. According to the Examiner, players can access replays uploaded by other players and earn any trophies unlocked in that playthrough just by watching the replay. D’oh.
We don’t actually think this will help in unlocking any of the campaign trophies – the hardest ones – but still, if you’ve just switched on the game, we should imagine you could get a fair few just by watching some replays. But why would you bother doing that? The game’s fun to play.

Ninja Gaiden Is Headed To Zen Pinball. Hell Yes.
Everytime we see the words “Zen Pinball” written, we go all of a flutter. The game’s fantastic. After playing the excellent Street Fighter table to death, we’re ready for a new challenge. And that’s coming in the form of a Ninja Gaiden themed table. We can’t bloody wait.
Details are totally restricted to that at the moment, but we’ll definitely have more soon.

FIFA 10's Insane Launch Numbers Will Please EA.
A magnificent success for FIFA 10 this year, as it succeeds expectations and becomes the second fastest selling game ever in the UK, right behind Grand Theft Auto IV. Even more interestingly, Playstation 3 sales of the game accounted for 46% of the title’s success; just 2% behind the XBOX 360’s relative market share, and a triumph for Sony who are seeing their system start to really gain ground in the console war.
Disappointingly, Playstation 3 exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma II could only muster up a chart placement of 26th (what’s wrong with you people, it’s super cheap and really rather good — review forthcoming) while Killzone 2 re-emerged at number 19.

We'd Like To Point This Image Out To Itagaki.
Former Team Ninja honcho Tomonobu Itagaki has been well documented as an outspoken man in the past. But in this interview with Kotaku, he comes across less outspoken, and more just pleasently opinionated. In the interview, seemingly unaware of the progress on Ninja Gaiden Sigma II [the original XBOX 360 title was designed by Itagaki - Ed] he jokes, “What the hell…?” when informed of the updated title’s Sixaxis controlled boobshake.
“Are those guys doing okay at home? I mean, I know Sigma 2’s producer, Hayashi, just got married recently…” he joked after describing the concept as “unique”.
See, if you’d have been this pleasant at Team Ninja Itagaki-san, you might not have left. But then, we probably wouldn’t have Ninja Gaiden Sigma II in the first place.
