Motorstorm: Arctic Edge has been confirmed as a welcoming gift for the oncoming winter (boo!), launching on UMD September 29th and download on October 1st. Of course, that puts Motorstorm: Arctic Edge right next to Gran Turismo PSP as a spiritual launch title for the PSP Go, which launches on the same day. Both releases are priced at $39.99 and include 12 reversible tracks and eight vehicle classes.

Those of you waiting out for the PS2 version of the game will have to hold out until “later this fall”. The PS2 version will be identical aside from the inclusion of split screen multiplayer.

Did we mention this game looks gorgeous for a PS2 title?
