MotoGP 09/10: Already Looking Amazing. Throw In Head-Tracking & 3D And Dude...

MotoGP 09/10 is coming pretty soon. But MotoGP 10/11, well that’s a little way off. And it’s giving Capcom the opportunity to consider future tech for those titles; namely head-tracking and stereoscopic 3d.

“One of the things that I’m really excited about is that the PS3 going to support 3D technology. So when you combine that with the PS Eye and theoretically doing the head tracking through that – I think that’s going to be absolutely awesome,” lead designer Greg Bryant told CVG.

Couple that with MotoGP 09/10 already looking fabulous and you have a potential winning sequel on the cards. We’ve got our fingers crossed for this.

There Are Sexy Road Textures Galore In Moto GP 09/10.

Capcom’s revealed its DLC plans for the upcoming Moto GP 09/10. The game’s due in March, with a demo planned about a month after release.

Interestingly, Capcom has announced there will be two free DLC packs launching “shortly” after the game’s release. The first DLC pack will include the 800cc bike class with various liveries and the Silverstone and Balatonring tracks. The second pack will include the 600cc and 125cc bike classes plus their various gubbins.

We suppose there will be much more on this game in the coming weeks.

MotoGP 09/10 Is Pencilled In For Release Next Year.

Recently Capcom acquired the rights to publish the popular MotoGP franchise. In doing so they’ve put together a new team known as Monumental Games, which features veteran members of the MotoGP development team.

Launching in March 2010, MotoGP 09/10 will feature all of the bikes, riders, and tracks from the 2009 championship series, including a full-fledged career mode that will give players the control to handle not only the racing, but also managerial tasks. Capcom also promise to “update the game with accurate real-time content from the 2010 championship at no extra cost.”

It certainly sounds interesting. No doubt we’ll be hearing more about the game later in the year.
