It Ain't Particularly Pretty Anymore, But It Still Rocks.

Hurah-guzzah and all that. Kojima’s mainstream master-piece, Metal Gear Solid, will see release (at long last) on the European Playstation Store this Thursday. Konami say the game will cost £7.99, and of course, it’ll be playable on either Playstation 3 or PSP.

Konami also say that Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and its sequel – Portable Ops + – will also see see a release in the future, alongside a Digital Graphic Novel, however no dates were given.

Metal Gear Solid Available On PSP & PS3 In A Few Short Weeks.

You know, when Jack Tretton stood up on stage and said there were more PSone games coming to the PSN we wanted to believe him but we just didn’t think it was going to happen. Then bam! Final Fantasy VII went live on the American PSN almost immediately.

Well following that up on June 18th is the original Metal Gear Solid. No word on a European release yet, but we certainly hope it comes shortly after, if not simulataneously.
