Kojima Hopes To Nail The Controls In MGS: Peace Walker.
The third-person shooter-esque controls from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots were quite a step-forward for the franchise. But Kojima still wants to give players a choice between the new and the traditional with the upcoming PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. In the game, players will be able to pick between the “action” controls from Portable Ops or “shooter” controls inspired by MGS4.
Hopefully Kojima will be able to nail the controls on the PSP this time. If anyone can do it, Kojima probably can.
Killzone 2; Now Officially A Lot, Lot Cheaper.
If you’ve been waiting on picking up Metal Gear Solid 4, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 then perhaps it’s time you picked them up. They’ve just gone platinum, i.e. cheap. All four titles can now be bought in garish packaging for £19.99.
If you’ve just jumped into the world of Playstation 3 via the recent price drop, we actually recommend you buy all four games.

Hear this Metal Gear Solid fans: Kojima Productions know you want trophies. As part of the latest Kojima Productions podcast, the company talk a little bit about the word on every MGS-avid’s lips; trophies.
“I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that we’re not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. It’s just that we can’t say anything just yet. But as soon as we have something to say, we will announce it. So, if we can just ask everyone to be patient, we will give you an answer.”
From that statement it seems very reassuring that trophies are indeed on their way to everybodies favourite Playstation 3 exclusive. It just feels like Kojima Productions don’t want to come out and announce it straight off, just in case anything should go wrong. But we’d say there’s probably reason to be excited.

Good morning USA. Just a quick note to let you know there are a bunch of new “Greatest Hits” titles available for your loving Playstation 3 console. The repackaged titles, which cost just $29.99, are a great opportunity to catch-up with some of the big releases you have may have missed earlier in the PS3’s life.
We recommend picking up Metal Gear Solid 4 and Ratchet & Clank first. We like the fancy new packaging by the way.
We're Just Waiting On The Call Of Duty Bikini Patch Now.
You know what Metal Gear Online has been missing? Bikinis. Thank goodness Kojima-san and his Konami crew have considered it worthwhile to add such neccessities to the game as way of a celebration for its first birthday. You’ll need the GENE update to download the bikinis.

Racing. In Metal Gear Solid. Amazing.
What better way to spend your time in Metal Gear Online than racing. The race mission will have two teams running through checkpoints after tracking down their frog and duck KEROTAN and GA-KO items (seriously!). Presumably the match is won by the team who passes through enough checkpoints mascot in hand. It’s a pretty novel mode for a shooter.
The Patriot perk will also be offered to the week’s best players: giving them unlimited ammo and no need to reload. Hmm… harsh on new players.
