Slider Has Bored Employees Racing Office Chairs Down A Steep Hill.
Anyone who has fond memories of the PSones zany Incredible Crisis will be instantly at home with the SCEJ developed Playstation Move title Slider.
The pitch is thus: in a cartoon, physics-led environment, you use the Playstation Move to control an office chair and its employee down a steep hill, desperately trying to escape a bunch of angry mobsters. Genius? Yush.
You hold the Playstation Move controller in one hand and motion towards the ground to get your character to push his chair. You can press the Playstation Move’s main “squiggle” button to lean back and zoom under things, and snap the controller towards you to jump into the air.
It’s a really simple premise that looks like it would be a great PSN title for a quick five minutes entertainment.
Check out some footage after the jump.

Sony Wish They Would Have Published Demon's Souls Outside Of Japan.
Demon’s Souls is a rare beast. The game, developed in conjunction between Sony and From Software, has gone on to become one of Playstation’s system sellers in the US – all due to favourable word of mouth. The game’s sold nearly over 250,000 copies. So why did Sony pass the publishing off to Atlus then?
“That was a mistake,” said SCE localisation liaison Yeonkyung Kim. “It should have come out as a first-party title.”
Kim went on to state that original sales estimates for the game were no higher than 15,000. We doubt Sony will make the same mistake for Demon’s Souls 2. Expect that game to get a big push.

White Knight Chronicles Will Finally See Western Release In February.
So, just to cement the outrageous Sony line-up that kicks off with MAG in January, Sony has announced that the long-awaited import of White Knight Chronicles (sub-headed “International Edition”) will launch in the USA on February 2nd. The game is a localised version of the Japanese release from earlier in the year, with 50 new quests, voice chat, Georama and Live Talk to boot.
It’s a shame White Knight Chronicles didn’t arrive earlier, especially with the juggernaut of Final Fantasy XIII due to release just a month later.

Sony Are Keen For Their Japan Studio To Start PS3 Development.
If you think about all the big Playstation 3 games since launch, chances are they came from a Western developer. Aside from the odd title here or there – Siren: Blood Curse, Trash Panic, Eye Of Judgement – a lot of Sony’s Studio Japan output has been on PSP over the past few years.
Sony Worldwide Studios honcho Shuhei Yoshida is fully aware of this, explaining “their focus was shifted onto the PSP, which reflects the success of the PSP as a platform in Japan … It’s completely opposite of the way how US and European teams moved onto working on the PS3 and we see the fruits of those efforts, while Japan studios shifted their focus onto the PSP.”
That’s about to change though. With Gran Turismo 5 and The Last Guardian already set to launch in 2010, Yoshida was keen to hint that Studio Japan are now readying themselves for a Playstation 3 onslaught. “We are now re-energizing teams and coming up with new ideas for PS3 development,” Yoshida said. “We’ll be able to show fruits of this work sometime next year.”
We expect next year’s Tokyo Game Show, GamesCom and E3 to have a couple of Studio Japan gems, and we can’t wait.
