The Big NPC, Dawg; New Pork City.

Ever wanted to play on a map entitled “New Pork”. Well Fat Princess is at last going to grant you that right, as a part of new DLC announced at PAX.  According to the developers, “New Pork offers an exciting array of strategies to slice and dice your way to victory. Use multiple sewer shortcuts to sneak up behind your enemies, blow up barricades to open up new routes of assault and defend your princess from the rooftops.”

Apparently there are more Fat Princess related announcements to come. We’re looking forward to it.

We're Assuming Only One Person From Each Team Can Play As The King.

We already told you about chefs, ninjas and pirates coming to Fat Princess, but what about the king? Looks like he’s heading to the party too. Titan Studios have been very quiet about these new characters — it’ll interesting to see how they are implemented seeing as new classes could effectively change the entire game. Still, it’s going to be hilarious seeing kings fighting chefs in Fat Princess’ whimsical world.

Chefs Are Headed To Fat Princess At Some Point.

Titan Studios are teasing new classes for Fat Princess. The teasers on their blog come without explanation or description. Just words and images. Still, we can safely assume that Chefs, Ninjas and Pirates are heading to the multiplayer based title. While the other classes are pretty self explanatory, we’re curious to see how the Chefs play. Will they be required to bake cake for the Princess to eat?

Fat Princess, Now With Playable Online Mutliplayer.

Hey America, Fat Princess now works. At least that’s what we’ve heard from people in the region who have downloaded the latest game-fixing patch for the title. The patch is designed to improve server stability, reduce lag, and fix a few bugs.

Europe are to get the patch sometime next week (presumably the rigorous SCEE quality control policy is holding it back that little bit further than the American version). If you’re based in Europe (like us) may we suggest eating real cake as a substitute for playing Fat Princess. It helps.
