Burnout Paradise + The Need For Speed Franchise + EA's Mega Budget = Amazing, Right?
Burnout developers Criterion Games are probably the masters of the arcade racer right now. Sure, it looks like Black Rock Studio’s Split/Second is going to give Burnout Paradise a run for its money early next year; but don’t think Criterion are down and out just yet — they’re set to release a Need For Speed game “next year”.
With Criterion at the helm, chances are the next Need For Speed game will be the serious rebirth of the franchise EA needs. Need For Speed Shift was good, but it lacked personality, something the team at Criterion have with abundance.
With the Need For Speed franchise adorning the box, perhaps it’s time the excellent Criterion had their moment in the limelight. Potential to be amazing: extremely high.

Oooh, Suits You Sir.
Pictured is the diamond encrusted P12, a reward for all those Paradise City residents who’ve spent their time completing all 500 online freeburn challenges, including everything from the original game, the new timed and freeburn challenges in the Cagney update, Bikes Pack and Big Surf Island. So only about 200 hours gameplay then.
Alas, do it all and this car shall be your reward. For free. We’re curious if anyone has got it yet.

Burnout Paradise: Toy Cars (DLC) on Playstation 3 Review
The Burnout Paradise Toy Cars update adds a selection of 9 new rides, all designed with toys in mind. The cars genuinely look, sound and handle great. Our favourites are the biker (complete with super deformed rider) and the Hunter Manhattan but they all look good.

Burnout Paradise: Cops & Robbers (DLC) on Playstation 3 Review.
Cops & Robbers is new DLC for Burnout Paradise which adds a heap of new cars and new online game mode. The new cars are all police skinned vehicles, and while nothing really stands out as “amazing”, it certainly adds value to the pack when you consider your £7.99/$9.99 gets you a new mode and a heap of skins.
