Magic Ball Still Looks Like This, It's Just, It's Called Magic Orbz Now. Shrugs.

The bad news: for some reason PSN favourite Magic Ball is set to become Magic Orbz. The good news: a patch heading to Europe on January 7th, and America on January 14th means new content (the Winter Theme Pack Add-On) is headed to the game.

“TikGames and Creat Studios are thrilled to deliver even more fun-filled and addictive content for our Magic Orbz fans on PlayStation Network,” said Anatoly Tikhman, Founder and CEO of TikGames, LLC “and we look forward to introducing the excitement to new players, as well.”

We really like Magic Bal…–erm–Orbz. If you like Breakout and lovely visuals, it’s totally worth a shot.

Mushroom Wars on Playstation 3 Review.

Minimalistic in style and substance, Mushroom Wars will probably prove too watered down for hardcore RTS fans. However, if you’re just looking to chill on the couch with a great looking, simplistic strategy game, Mushroom Wars delivers.

Our Press Release Described A "Quaint Visual Style". We Have To Agree.

Our friends over at Creat Studios have announced that their Real Time Strategy game, Mushroom Wars, is hitting the Playstation Store on October 15th. That’s tomorrow, y’all.

Mushroom Wars is an – and we quote – all-ages, fast-paced, real time strategy (RTS) game that brings arcade skirmish gameplay to the forefront. Our press release also describes the game as “quaint”, which means “awesome” in our dictionary.

There are tons of levels, local multiplayer, custom soundtracks and YouTube video uploading all supported in Mushroom Wars.

Anyone planning on picking this up tomorrow. Looks like it could be a nice pace breaker in between long sessions of Uncharted 2.

Digger HD Launches On The European Playstation Store Tomorrow.

If you’re keen to jump into Creat Studio’s reimagining of the eighties’ Digger in HD, then the European Playstation Store has your back. Digger HD will launch tomorrow in Europe, with the original “vintage mode” in tact for those who prefer it to shiney HD graphics. The game has 60 levels and will launch at £7.99.

Digger HD Is An HD Remake Of A Classic Game.

Creat Studio’s have announced that their remake of the classic PC title, Digger HD, will hit the North American Playstation Store this October 1st, and the European store on October 8th. In the game, players control a construction vehicle and are tasked with digging their own path through an underground maze in order to collect power-ups and goodies.

The game features 60 levels and all new shiny HD graphics. Purists can opt to play the game as it was originally intended by selecting the Vintage Mode however.

“It’s thrilling to see such a great game like Digger come back with a 21st Century makeover,” said Jo-Anne Kempe, president, Windmill Software Inc., and co-creator of Digger. “We’re excited about the PSN platform, allowing Digger HD to be discovered and enjoyed by a whole new generation of gamers.”

Smash Cars on Playstation 3 Review.

When you compare Smash Cars to a competitive PSN racing title, say Wipeout HD for example, it comes across as pretty thin. However, what’s in the game is pretty fun, and while it won’t hold your attention for too long, it’s still worth checking out.

Hooray, Smash Cars Will Be On The PSN This Week For Europe.

Creat Studios’ latest (and maybe greatest) PSN title, Smash Cars, will hit the European Playstation Network this coming August 27th. The game will cost just €14.99/£11.99.

Smash Cars is a trick-based RC toy racing game with tons of vehicle customisation and six player online multiplayer. We’ll have a review for you really soon.
