No Doubt Are Suing Activision Over Their Appearance In Band Hero.

Oh no, the whole Kurt Cobain thing is back again. No Doubt are suing Activision over their appearance in Band Hero, claiming they have been turned into a “circus act” after their likenesses are available for use in the game’s full 60 track line-up. According to No Doubt, their likeness was only supposed to be used in the game’s three No Doubt tracks.

Blimey Activision. The one-off thing with Kurt Cobain we kinda got… But for this to happen twice?

Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier is hitting American PSP’s this Tuesday, alongside a PS2 release on the same day.

So instead we’re going to talk about the new game you’re in, Band Hero. And its track list. Which is probably going to make the Guitar Hero faithful cry themselves to sleep; but it actually looks a lot better to us than the usual tosh they put out on these games.

You’ll even be able to import tracks and DLC from other Guitar Hero products. Bonza!

You Have To Admit, That's An Impressive Rendering Of Miss. Swift.

Everybody look, it’s Taylor Swift in Band Hero looking a lot like Taylor Swift. Impressive rendering aside, Activision want you to know that Miss. Swift will be making an appearance in the upcoming Band Hero game on Playstation 3. She had this to say of the game:

“Anything that encourages people to pick up an instrument and play, I’m fully behind. And, I’m really excited about Band Hero, because not only are fans getting to play my songs, but I’m actually in the game,” said Swift. “There are so many awesome things that go into being in Band Hero, like getting to customize my band to look like my touring band, and it’s so cool for people to feel like they are experiencing one of my concerts. This is one of the closest things out there to going to see me perform!”

Fans of Taylor will be able to win a trip to see the real lady in concert, details can be found on BandHero.com. Any Swift fans? We prefer some good old fashioned Dixie Chicks spinning in the office personally.

Look everyone, it’s Band Hero. It features hot American chicks singing Lily Allen songs. How do we know they’re American? Because their lip syncing doesn’t really match up with the British tones of Lily Allen. You can just tell they’re doing it all wrong.

Still, the mere sight of sexy people, Lily Allen and flashy fonts is sure to piss off the Guitar Hero faithful. They, like, totally sold out or something.

At least those who play Band Hero are likely to wash their hair.
