James Cameron's Avatar: The Game on Playstation 3 Review.
James Cameron’s Avatar may be being hyped as one of the biggest innovations in cinema; but the game intended to cash-in on that hype is about as middling as possible. Avatar: The Game isn’t bad, it just isn’t that good either.

We totally had no idea that Ubisoft’s video game adaptation of James Cameron’s Avatar would feature multiplayer – but this trailer totally confirms that it does. It looks quite good too. It’ll be interesting to see how the different factions are balanced.
We’re quite looking forward to this game. It certainly looks like Ubisoft have gone to great lengths to make a solid tie-in.

Avatar: The Game Will Launch December 1st In The US.
Looks like Avatar is going to be one of the last games we review this year, as it’s just been noted by Ubisoft that the game will launch on December 1st. It’ll be on PS3 and PSP. The movie doesn’t actually launch until the 16th, so it’ll give potential fans of what we assume is going to be a franchise, plenty of time to get engaged into the universe.
The game is also playable in 3D if you have the right, ridiculous, set-up.

Avatar On The Playstation Portable Will Be Able To Connect To The PS3 Version.
Avatar: The Game is coming to the PSP according to IGN. The handheld version of the game will have you fighting as the film’s blue skinned aliens.
Most interestingly, the PSP version of Avatar will connect to the PS3 version in much the same way as Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines. We’re not sure exactly what the connectivity will unlock, but hopefully there’s some cool incentive.

We still don’t know what Avatar is about. No one sent us a postcard with answers on when we requested it. Apparently it’s still the best thing since sliced bread though. Apparently. All we know is that it’s a movie by James Cameron and Ubisoft are making the game of the film
This reveal trailer doesn’t really tell us anything about Avatar’s fiction, but it does tell us that Avatar: The Game will have lots of pretty colours in it.
Does it remind anyone of Halo though?
