PlayStation Productions has been a pretty successful venture for Sony so far, and it's showing no signs of slowing down yet. It's still relatively early days, but we've already had the Uncharted movie become a box office hit and The Last of Us TV adaptation breaking records (and hearts) with HBO. There's more to come in 2023, though, and that might include Twisted Metal.

In a tweet, PS Productions head Asad Qizilbash uses his elevator ride to highlight what's happening this year. The Gran Turismo movie is next on the agenda, with the aforementioned Last of Us show also getting a nod. However, Qizilbash also implies the Twisted Metal TV show is heading our way in 2023:

"You can't see me, but my head is on fire, too," he says, with clown and fire emojis to really drive the point home.

Indeed, filming on the series finished last year, meaning it's now entrenched in post-production territory. Starring Anthony Mackie as John Doe and Samoa Joe as Sweet Tooth (with Will Arnett providing the voice), we've known about the adaptation for a while, and it seems like it's now a matter of months away. Presumably we will see more from it fairly soon, if it really is lining up for its debut in 2023.
