A clean swing is crucial if you’re going to dominate the green, and PGA Tour 2K21 just got a little smoother as part of a post-release update. The game now runs at 60 frames-per-second, and while we haven’t been able to test the performance on a standard PlayStation 4 or PS4 Pro, we can confirm that it’s transformative on the PS5 with backwards compatibility.

This is all part of the game’s next major update, which introduces the second Clubhouse Pass. For those not familiar with the golf simulation, this is effectively a Battle Pass, which unlocks cosmetics and gear as you progress through it. There’s a free tier with a handful of rewards, but if you cough up a bit of cash you’ll be able to claim the contents of all 75 tiers.

There are also a new course available to everyone for free: the Bay Hill Club & Lodge. As the press release introduces: “The location is home to the prestigious Arnold Palmer Invitational, which is one of only five tournaments given invitation-only status by the PGA TOUR. The Bay Hill Club & Lodge was created by legendary designer Dick Wilson and later renovated by Arnold Palmer himself.”
