SNK has teased the next DLC character for Samurai Shodown, and... Well, it appears to be the Warden from Ubisoft's multiplayer melee-'em-up, For Honor. The silhouette provided by the publisher lines up pretty much perfectly with the official For Honor render of the Warden, so unless SNK's somehow nicked the outline for a different character, then it looks like a safe bet.
In For Honor, the Warden wears heavy knight armour and wields a large two handed sword. It's certainly an interesting choice, and the western warrior should provide Samurai Shodown with something a little different.
In any case, the full reveal is happening at New Game+ Expo, which airs on the 23rd June.

I can’t remember what game it was called, but Ubisoft did have a mobile game that had Samurai Shodown characters has guest. So it could be Warden. I still main the previous DLC character Iroha, I try to at least.
@shonenjump86 Oh so there have already been crossovers between the two? This makes a lot more sense then.
@ShogunRok yes, just a mobile game that I’m aware of. It was called Might and Magic. Never played it though.
Well, that's a surprise.
