We hadn't seen this brilliant PlayStation ad until today, but we can see why it's blown up across social media. The South Korean cartoon was originally released on YouTube in June 2019 by an incredibly popular animation channel called 장삐쭈. The video really took off when it was translated into English earlier this year, causing it to explode across Facebook in particular. And now, the cartoon is enjoying a second wave of Western popularity, primarily thanks to Twitter.
As mentioned, the cartoon itself is fantastic. It features a family trying to convince the mother character that their new PS4 Pro is actually a replacement router. It's difficult to explain in writing -- you're better off just watching it for yourself. Remember to hit the closed captions option for English subtitles.

I feel triggered
Very strange. 🙁
Haha this is great! Have not laughed that much in a while
I dont get it. Why can't he have a Playstation? Now he wont have a router.
I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing this LOL
Mother: How did you know the router's name?
Son: AH AH AAAAAH ...
Gets me every time lol
@Powerpellet I was also in the same thinking. Its funny, I guess, that he can't normally have a PS Pro, so goes to such extremes. But he just lost his router. Wouldn't his wife picked up on that fact immediately via the smart phone she clearly owns in the video? Even if the technician left and the ruse happened?
What a strange cartoon!
Excellent so quick and funny.
