Original Story: Here’s a strange story: there’s been footage of a cancelled Prince of Persia game on YouTube for over eight years, but it’s only just been properly discovered. The concept trailer, subtitled Redemption, was in development for PlayStation 3, and it shows an Uncharted-esque set-piece scenario involving time manipulation, sword fighting, and lots of running.

The game obviously never released, but fortunately there are rumours of a new Prince of Persia game, after publisher Ubisoft registered a domain name. But while we wait for more information on that, what do you think of this concept? It’s definitely got that late PS3-era muddy style to it, but we reckon the gameplay ideas look like lots of fun.
