The Last of Us Part II PS4 PlayStation 4

Out of absolutely nowhere, Sony has confirmed a brand new release date for The Last of Us: Part II. The PlayStation 4 exclusive was recently delayed indefinitely, but it seems the game will make it out just a few weeks after the original 29th May date.

The Last of Us 2 will now launch on 19th June, 2020.

Sony revealed the news via the PlayStation Blog. "As our teams at Sony Interactive Entertainment and Worldwide Studios approach development milestones and confront a world changed by COVID-19, we find ourselves having to adapt to today’s ever-changing environment," the platform holder says. "Amidst some disruptions to our working styles, we wanted to provide an update to PlayStation gamers who are eager to learn when our next exclusive titles will arrive to PlayStation 4."

The news also confirms that Ghost of Tsushima will also face a delay to make room for Ellie's latest outing. Read more about that through the link.
