After seemingly wrapping up its collection of announcements for the time being with an April Fools joke, Japanese developer PlatinumGames has hinted that it actually has a fifth reveal planned. Taking to Twitter, it says that a "bonus stage" is coming soon while the teaser website has been updated with a fifth star. That one reads: "????? XX.XX.2020".
If this isn't another cruel joke from the mind of Hideki Kayima, what could it be? The studio has its hands in a lot of pots at the moment, suggesting that this could be an update to one of its current projects rather than a brand new title. We wouldn't put it past PlatinumGames to announce yet another game, however. We haven't seen anything from Babylon's Fall recently, but then Nintendo fans have been waiting on Bayonetta 3 news for even longer. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. However, the tease on the website does suggest that whatever the announcement is, it's launching this year.
PlatinumGames has already revealed The Wonderful 101 Remastered, Project G.G., and a new studio based in Tokyo as part of the initiative. What do you hope to see from PlatinumGames, assuming it's not another gag? Share your predictions in the comments below.

I think for the sanity if the internet it WANTS to be Bayonetta 3 at this point. Kamiya keeps saying it's going fine and much like SMTV, the game doesn't exist beyond that for three years now.
If it's anything OTHER than that, then how many things have these maniacs been doing at once? Babylons Fall, Astral Chain, Wonderful 101, the Bayonetta remasters in 2018 on Switch, Bayonetta 3, Project GG....and that's just what's come out in the past 3 years.
Too late, being a disappointed fan dictate that I have to hate Platinum Games for the rest of my life... Can't wait for their remastered and new games though

Glad they're going to do an actual fourth announcement. Some info on Bayonetta 3 would be great, though I wouldn't mind if it ends up being about a completely different game instead.
Just announce it already.
Personally it's one of very the few things I loathe about Japanese game culture, the announcements that there will be an announcement. Usually they come with some sort of pointless timer to try to whip up more hype, but to me it's just really boring.
How about this for an idea, announce a game maybe a month before release, or perhaps when it goes gold?

I think Astral Chain deserves a multi plat release. Nintendo was the switch publisher so perhaps a little unlikely but hey we can always hope
